Altered State is a 4-piece indie-surf-rock-inspired band manifesting from the beaches of the Gold Coast. With an infectious live performance, the boys have begun to forge a path through the Australian music scene. Drawing inspiration upon all corners and times of the musical universe, from the psychedelic rock grooves of Ocean Alley, catchy indie-pop bands like Lime Cordiale, to soulful jazz influences of Matt Corby and everything in between. Altered State’s genius blending across rock, pop, soul, funk, and jazz has resulted in a truly unique and intriguing sound on the scene.
